Financial Support for Participating Countries

Ⅰ. Financial Support

1. Principle of financial support

The chaperones have to reserve a place that is appropriate for 2021 GITC competition

Financial support is limited to youth with disabilities who attend the on-site Challenge and being monitored by GITC Secretariat. Therefore, it will not be given to off-site participants, participating from individually decided places.

2. Range of financial support for facilitating the competition

Financial support will be offered to only least-developed and lower middle-income countries, and it will be supported differently.

Also, Financial support will be provided only for groups that consists of at least 20 participants. Due to the limited budget, the support can be offered maximum 30 participants. However, additional participation more than 30 participants is possible with each country’s self-finance

3. Range of financial support for participation

Approx. 10 USD ($10) will be offered per participant (including individual and group participations) apart from financial support for operating expenses explained above.

’Youth participant’ stands for a youth with disabilities who actually participates in each Challenge according to the event schedule and submit his/her answer sheet. In the case that youth participant finished application process for participating in 2021 GITC but does not submit his/her answer sheet on the competition date, no financial support will be given.
